He stayed at Griffin Park until transfer deadline day in 1999, and played 526 games for the Bees in all competitions, many of which as captain. He was named as Brentford's Player of the Year in 1995, but also missed a crucial penalty in the Playoff semi-final penalty shootout against Huddersfield. He went on to have a successful end to his career at Wycombe, playing 101 games before retiring in 2001.
