Most of the people in these stories are real, but most of what is told here has been manufactured in the far-reaching places of my mind. I love my family and the East Tennessee area in which we were all born and raised. Because my purpose has been to shine a positive light on our people (we all have skeletons in our closets, but we don't have to live in there with them!), I have focused on the funny and sweet moments I keep in my treasure chest of memories.
