Autorenporträt
Antonio Sanchez-Day was born in Topeka, Kansas. Because of trouble stemming from drugs, alcohol and gangs, he was incarcerated for 13 years. Upon release, he applied himself to writing and poetry as a way to reform himself. He became a volunteer at the Douglas County Jail as a writing class instructor, and presented his work in many different forums all over the state. He used his writing as his way of taking on life.
