It's Just Dyslexia is a book that can be used as a tool for counselors, teachers, parents and students. It addresses the disorder called "dyslexia" and some of the effects on children as they learn and develop. Its impact is significant, not only in the acquisition of academic skills for success in school, but on the emotional and psychological state of the child. Hopefully, more understanding and an effective pedagogy customized to meet the needs of these children can continue to develop. The purpose of this book is to provide: -information regarding some characteristics of dyslexia, -assistance with the management of the disorder, -support and compassionate understanding of the effects of the disorder and -encouragement to meet the challenges of the condition. With a supportive salute and encouraging note, I dedicate this book to all the children who struggle with the written word: "Never give up on yourself, IT'S JUST DYSLEXIA."

Autor

Professionally, I have been an educator for thirty years. Serving in the capacity as a classroom teacher and a school guidance counselor, I have been honored to work with many children. My career, as an educator, has primarily been to teach and support students. As a result, I have witnessed the struggles of dyslexic children academically and personally. However, I often have had the satisfaction of witnessing the acquisition and development of skills of these children. I hope to continue to support education throughout my life. This book is a formal, literary attempt to provide support for teachers, counselors, parents and children who encounter the dilemma of dyslexia.
