This book hopes to explain to the masses exactly what does being transgender means. In a nutshell and to put it as simply as possible, transgender is really an umbrella term for people whose gender identity, gender expression or behavior does not match or conform to what society typically associates with the sex that they were assigned at birth. Gender Identity really refers to a person's internal feeling and sense of being male, female or something else.
