HERSHEL EDELHEIT is director of Edelheit Research Institute for Contemporary History (ERICH), Brooklyn, New York. ABRAHAM J. EDELHEIT is Professor at Kingsborough Community College in New York and is a scholar in residence for the Jewish Association for Services to the Aged. Together, the Edelheits have edited seven reference books on the Holocaust and modern history, including A World in Turmoil (Greenwood Press, 1991) and The Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union (Greenwood Press, 1992).
