Jan Olearnick is a poet with a sense of humor. When she was an elementary school librarian, Jan found that reading children's books aloud is one of her favorite past-times. Using quirky animal characters, Jan has created a series of entertaining and educational poems designed to introduce the young readers to historical figures.
