Mitbegründer der Agentur "Bilderberg" in Hamburg, arbeitet für renommierte Magazine wie GEO, STERN und MERIAN, veröffentlichte zahlreiche Fotobände, seine Fotografien und Bücher erhielten zahlreiche Auszeichnungen. Klaus D. Francke lebt in Hamburg.
