The worrying thing about interculturality is that the efforts of thinkers from antiquity to the present day have not influenced the politicians who have decision-making power. Indeed, the times in which we live seem paradoxical. Utopian enthusiasm for a unified world has given rise to withdrawal and rejection of the other.
