Frank Hoffmann is an Associate Professor at the School of Library Science, Sam Houston State Univ., Huntsville, TX. His teaching responsibilities include library collection development and a seminar on intellectual freedom. A lifelong interest in popular culture materials has also brought him into contact with the censoring phenomenon. His publications include The Development of Collections of Sound Recordings in Libraries (Marcel Dekker), The Literature of Rock and the Cash Box chart compilation series (Scarecrow), and Popular Culture and Libraries (Library Professional Publications).
