The municipality of Heres, Bolivar State, is a place of daily production of solid waste that once generated is disposed of inadequately, revealing that there is no rational use of resources. In this sense, a model for the integral management of solid waste is designed, showing the need to articulate the Popular Power, the Public Power, the Private Companies and the Universities towards sustainable endogenous development, generating an alternative of community self-management based on the potential use of the solid waste produced in the municipal environment.
