It is revealed that there is irregularity of inspection of Teachers' Colleges in Tanzania. College tutors are found to have negative attitudes towards inspection due to very poor implementation of inspections' recommendations and poor planning and organization of inspections. In most cases information gathered from inspection do not portray the reality of the normal learning environment and inspection is seen as remedial more than developmental.
