Fulya Dökmeci MD is a Professor at the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Ankara University School of Medicine, where she has led the Gynecology & Urogynecology Division since 2009. Her work focuses specifically on Urogynecology and Pelvic Surgery. She completed the fellowship programs on "Teaching & Learning" and "Educational Leadership" at the Medical Education Division, Keck School of Medicine as an ECFMG/FAIMER scholar from 2002 to 2003. At the same time, she served as a Visiting Professor at the Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery Division. She has been working in this field ever since, in addition to serving as the coordinator of postgraduate education at Ankara School of Medicine for more than 10 years. She also founded the Urogynecology Unit under the Gynecology Division, and promoted the advancement of this field as an active member of numerous national and international societies such as the "Turkish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics", "Turkish Society of Gynecologic Endoscopy", "Turkish Urogynecology and PRS Association" and internationally the European Urogynecology Association (EUGA), International Urogynecology Association (IUGA), and International Continence Society (ICS). Currently she is the President of the "Turkish Urogynecology & Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery Association" (TUPRA). She is a member of the Executive Board and Chair of the Educational Committee of the "Mediterranean Incontinence & Pelvic Floor Society" (MIPS) and is an editorial board member of the "Turkish Journal of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology". She has contributed to many editorials, reviews and book chapters, and has published more than 100 scientific papers. Professor Diaa E. E. Rizk MSc (Hons), FRCOG, FRCS, MD, Dip BA is the Professor and Chairman of Obstetrics and Gynecology, College of Medicine and Medical Sciences, Arabian Gulf University, Manama, Bahrain. He completed training in Obstetrics and Gynecology, then in Urology and Colo-rectal Surgery. He has published over 160 original articles, special contributions, editorials, reviews and case reports and over 70 abstracts in peer-reviewed indexed scientific journals. He has been one of the Editors of the International Urogynecology Journal from 2007-2021. He serves on the editorial board of many medical journals and is currently a member of the editorial board of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. He has extensive experience in clinical practice and has made important contributions to training and service provision in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Women's Health and Urogynecology. He has served on several national, regional and international committees for the International Urogynecology Association (IUGA), International Continence Society (ICS), International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO), World Federation of Medical Education (WAME), and World Health Organization (WHO). In 2013 he co-founded the Mediterranean Incontinence and Pelvic Floor Society (MIPS), where he has served as President since 2016 until present.
