Martin Pfleiderer (Dr. phil.) ist Musikwissenschaftler und Musiker. Er lehrt Systematische Musikwissenschaft an der Universität Hamburg. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind Popularmusikforschung, Musikpsychologie und Musiksoziologie.
