Robin Kay Miller was born in Queens and raised in Brownsville Houses in Brooklyn NY. At the age of 22 she became a New York City Correction Officer on Rikers Island, in the Correctional Institution For Men, Formerly known as C-76. She worked at various institutions within the Correction Department. In 2005 she completed her 20 years of service and retired, with an impeccable record, and has since penned her memoirs. She has appeared in WABC Channel 7" Nightline" CNN AC360 live with ANDERSON COOPER & CNN live with POPPY HARLOW and 77 WABC RADIO SAVAGE RADIO with DR. MICHAEL SAVAGE. She has a 2 page spread in the NYPOST by GARY BUISO. She continues to embark on her career as a screenwriter and director of feature films. She plans to develops a movie and TV series about her experiences as a Correction Officer.
