Autorenporträt

Susan Marie Conrad grew up on a farm in upstate New York where she wandered wildly through acres of ponds, creeks, and forests. Her favorite things are the outdoors, water, and adventure. (And honestly, she can't be left alone in the same room with dark chocolate!) Now she lives on an island in the Pacific Northwest with her partner, along with a ridiculously large dog, and two normal-sized cats. She is a Washington State Book Award finalist and a Journey Award grand prize winner of the Chanticleer International Book Awards. She's currently working on her fourth book. When she's not writing or paddling you may find her huffing up mountains, swooshing down ski slopes, or furiously pedaling her bicycle to be on time for dinner.
