The chapters, from 2 to 4 that follows focuses on the development and strategic nature of EA. chapters 5 to 8 covers the individual (business, information application and technical architectures) domains of EA, in four chapters. Finally, in the last two chapters, the implementation and post implementation (institutionalisation) of EA are examined.

Tiko Iyamu holds a PhD in Information Systems from the University of Cape Town. Currently, he is a Professor of Information Systems at the Tshwane University of Technology, Pretoria, South Africa. He also serves as a Professor Extraordinaire at the Department of Computer Science, University of the Western Cape, South Africa.
