Tir¿e Erbaysal Filibeli is an assistant professor at the Department of New Media at Bahçe¿ehir University. She received her Ph.D. from Galatasaray University with her thesis focusing on `new social movements and peace journalism¿. Her recent research interests focus on digital and algorithmic manipulation, big data and data privacy, fact-checking, `fake news¿ about minorities and othering in the post-truth era.
