Being a labor-intensive industry it provides much job opportunities to a large segment of the population. In this rapidly changing global market, employees have to prepare themselves for handling this scenario. Employees who are much influenced by physical, mental and social activities on their work environment have an impact on their individual wellbeing. The psychologist, economists and world health organization¿s at the global level are much interested on knowing the work pleasure and pressure, hence the researcher has given thrust on employees wellbeing reflecting through the variables chosen in this study. On continuous review of various literatures, the researcher was able to identify the research gap giving rise to the following research questions and evolve the objectives of this study. The aim of the research is to find, is there any influence of individual resilience and emotional intelligence on the wellbeing of employees with job satisfaction as mediating variable working in the textile apparel industry. The researcher has adopted descriptive research and has applied convenience and purposive sampling method for data collection. To ensure the reliability and validity of the research instrument, a pilot test was conducted using four sets of self administered standardized research questionnaires. The respective scale, for Resilience framed byG ail Wagnild & Heather Young 1993, Emotional Intelligence scale by Emily Sterrett 2015, Job satisfaction scale by Thompson & Terpening 1983 and Wellbeing scale by Jagsharanbir Singh & Asha Gupta 2001. The results of reliability, Cronbach's Alpha test for items and constructs were found to be in the range of 0.7 and 0.8 above, which holds the internal consistency and the reliability of the questionnaires as recommended by Cornbach 1984, Nunnally 1978.
