India is one of the major players in world garment trade and the the garment industry is one of the largest employers in India. Mr. Venu Varukolu received his MS degree in Textiles and Apparel Merchandising from the Louisiana State University in the United States. Dr. Park-Poaps received her Ph.D. in Consumer and Textile Sciences from the Ohio State University. She is assistant professor in the Louisiana State University.
