This is despite the fact that improving maternal health outcomes by reducing barriers to accessing maternal health services is a key goal for developing countries. This research study is expected to increase access to quality of healthcare services provided to the female patients in remote-rural hard to reach areas of Zambia. Objective: To analyze the relationships between Female Patients acceptance of Male Midwives and the quality of healthcare services offered by male midwives.

Dr Ernest C. Mutale is both a Public Health Specialist and Health Services Management Specialist from Griffith University in Australia. He is a qualified Medical Doctor from the University of Zambia and currently working in Zambia as Mbala District Health Director. He has over 15 years experience of working in remote, hard to reach areas of Zambia.
