Abdulhadi H. Taher obtained his PhD from the University of California. He is the former Director General of the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Petroleum & Minerals, and has served as a board member of Aramco and governor of Petromin. Taher is also a Knight of Thailand, given by the King of Thailand in 1980.
