As a social institution, schools have undergone various changes over time. The basic principle of the school institution is the socialisation of elaborate knowledge for all citizens, however, it is known that there are those for whom the school was not designed for them, for example psychotic children, in this sense, it becomes relevant to understand how the school can welcome the psychotic child guaranteeing the right to education that verses in the constitution. The aim of this study was to understand how it is possible to include psychotic children in school, with the psychology professional mediating, whose training is based on the theoretical framework of Gestalt therapy. The research presented here is qualitative, exploratory and bibliographical in nature. Several sources were used to carry out the research, including books, articles, magazines and other periodicals. In general, the school system and the inclusion of psychotic children in this context were highlighted.
