Elaine Oostra is the author of One Brick at a Time: Breaking Down Walls of Bitterness. She has studied the Bible for 20 years through Precept Ministries, an in-depth Bible class. It prepared her for what God had in store for her. Elaine is a speaker for women's groups. She serves in different youth ministries, including Launch Pad Ministries, a Christian release time class for middle and high school students. She has also served as a youth leader for nine years in her church. For the past 13 years, she has had, and continues to have, Bible studies in her home for high school girls. God has given her a passion and gift for teaching the youth. Elaine has a passion for boldly teaching the uncompromising truths of the gospel. She desires for others to know God intimately and hunger for His Word, to then take the Word and share it with others. She desires for all believers to have discernment when a false gospel is being preached and to stand firm in God's Word. Elaine and her husband have been married for 44 years (2017) and are self-employed farmers. They have four children, and four in-laws (love) children, 16 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild that are the delights of their hearts! The joy of her heart is to see ALL come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
