Ihr Leben läuft trotz der angespannten finanziellen Lage gut. Sie hat seit einiger Zeit wieder einen festen Freund aus der Nachbarschaft. Als Sie ihm aber eröffnet, dass sie von ihm schwanger ist, läuft auch er wie seine Vorgänger einfach davon. Leider gerät auch Thomas, ihr 18-jähriger Sohn, auf die ¿schiefe Bahn". Der einzige Lichtblick ist ihre Arbeitskollegin und Freundin Maggie, die sie nach Kräften unterstützt. Die Geschichte ist angelehnt an den gleichnamigen Song von Elvis Presley.

English: My name is Udo Fehring, I'm 54 years old, I'm in a relationship and I live in Leverkusen. I work as a SAP consultant for a medium-sized automotive supplier near Wuppertal. My hobbies besides writing are mainly traveling and cross-country skiing. I regularly take part in fun runs. The highlight of this year was the participation in and successful completion of the Cologne Marathon. Until now I have published 16 book; 3 out of them also in english. German: Mein Name ist Udo Fehring, ich bin 54 Jahre alt, liiert und lebe in Leverkusen. Ich arbeite als SAP Berater bei einem mittelständischen Automobilzulieferer bei Wuppertal. Meine Hobby außer dem Schreiben sind v.a. Reisen und Langlauf. Dabei nehme ich regelmäßig an Volksläufen teil. Das Highlight dieses Jahr war die Teilnahme und erfolgreiche Bewältigung des Köln Marathon. Bislang habe ich 16 Bücher veröffentlicht, 3 davon auch in englisch.
