Andy Horne was an Assistant District Attorney office in Houston, Texas when he resigned and entered the United States Navy in 1967. His active duty service included on the USS Princeton, a helicopter carrier off the coast of Vietnam and as an Office-in-Charge of a Swift Boat (PCF) in the Mekong Delta. Andy returned to civilian life resuming his professional career first as a Harris County Assistant District Attorney, then as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Texas, thereafter entering private practice. In 1997 he became an Assistant Attorney General for the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands on Saipan. Andy and his wife, Sylvia, now reside in a Galveston, Texas cottage that survived the deadly 1900 storm as well as Hurricane IKE.
