The book focuses on the area of service delivery in (tele)communication networks. Telco operators are becoming just Internet connection providers and are not able to bring innovations accordingly. The book proposes new philosophy for operators and service providers. Inspired by stores of smart applications, the author proposes new approach for telco operators. It is based on offering many services to customer so he can choose and use services according to his needs (switch from "my customer" to "satisfied customer" philosophy). The model requires operators to open their APIs to 3rd party service providers and thus enable competition. The competition in such environment has many advantages benefitial for customers as well as for operators and service providers. Win-win-win is at place. IMS-based networks can adopt the philosophy without necessity to change standards. Service Sharing System (SSS) proposed for IMS networks enables any operator or 3rd party service provider to offer a service to customers. High quality services are utilized directly via end devices (e.g. TV channels offered by all providers are listed and can be watched).
