Mahmuda Islam obtained B.Sc and M.Sc. degree from the Department of Forestry and Environmental Science, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh. She joined the same department as a lecturer in 2012. Wetlands and climate change issues are the preferred fields of her research. She is also interested to biodiversity
