Produktbeschreibung
The incidence of some diseases caused by harmful factors in children and adolescents in different regions of Georgia in 2015-2019 was studied. It has been suggested that the incidence of these diseases in children and adolescents can be used as a total marker to assess the environmental safety of regions. Heavy metal content in the soil in the same regions was analyzed over the indicated years. A positive correlation was found between the high content of lead and manganese in the soil and the frequency of congenital malformations. The hypothesis of the role of heavy metal contamination in the development of ecopathology has been confirmed. It was considered expedient to study the dynamics of these findings, which should be considered as a prerequisite to reduce ecopathology and, consequently, to improve the health of the population.
