This chapter presents the review of literature. The review of literature involves the systematic identification, analysis of documents, encompassing information related with the research problem. The documentation include articles, abstract, dissertations, research reports, and electronic database (Emerald publishing, ABI Inform, JSTOR, Google Scholar, and Web of Science). The key objective of reviewing the literature is to provide foundation of knowledge based on nature of work and extent of work that has been carried out on topic. Several authors (Gupta et al., 2008; Allusionz and Drew, 2010; Alshehri et al., 2012; Rana et al., 2013; Ibrahim and Zakaria, 2016; Al-Refaie and Ramadna, 2020; Alenezi et al., 2017; Al-Refaie et al., 2017; Bhaskar et al., 2020; Miah and Sentosa, 2021) have identified the existing gaps. Further, review of literature has been grouped into two sections namely, e-government adoption and job performance. The review of literature of e-government adoption and job performance has been presented in the few paragraphs.
