In this regard, KVK Panna develop modules i.e. Sweep seed drill, BBF system, FIRBS, In-Situ mulching of weeds in Pigeon pea crop, DSR, Crop diversification, Intercropping and weed management which allow draining of the excess water and conserve the in- situ soil moisture under less precipitation regime through increased infiltration rate and reduced run-off. Adoption of appropriate technology by integrated resource management approach to achieve the desired goals of enhancing the production and productivity of field crops, reducing land degradation and protecting the environment, which ultimately results in increased economic benefit to rural communities to alleviate poverty.

Dr. Rajiv Singh, Prof & Head, Div. of VMD, SKUAST-J,J & K, India received degrees of BVSc & AH, MVSc and PhD from PAU, Ludhiana. He has 110 research papers, 2 books, 8 book chapters, 3 manuals, 6 post graduate students, 5 research projects to his credit. He is recipient of fellowship of NADSc & Young Scientist Award.
