Moreover, antibacterial drugs have also been shown to markedly destroy the phagocytic activity of polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMN cells), which are responsible for maintaining non-specific uterine defence.The authors have tried an alternative therapy by using some non-specific immunomodulators to manage bovine endometritis and also tried to find out the relation of thyroid and cortisol hormone on recovery rate.
