To prevent these diseases, the immunity of the person should be strong. Many herbals drugs and compound herbal preparations have been screened for their immuno modulatory effect properties but still there is a need for effective immune enhancers. This dearth and also the fact that Yashada bhasma is being used in treating many of the immune related diseases, prompted us to take the present study which aims to validate the immuno modulatory effect of Yashada bhasma scientifically and explain its probable mode of action in such diseases at the cellular level.
