Jeanne Willis wurde in St. Albans, Großbritannien, geboren und arbeitete mehrere Jahre in Werbeagenturen. Heute lebt sie als freischaffende Schriftstellerin zusammen mit ihrem Mann und ihren beiden Kindern im Norden Londons. Neben Kinder- und Jugendbüchern hat sie auch Drehbücher fürs Fernsehen geschrieben.
