Ron Clamp is a third generation stone carver from Elberton, Georgia, the "Granite Capital of the World." As a designer, stone carver, member of the Stone Carvers Guild, journeyman engraver, and architectural stone specialist, Ron has used his imagination and creativity to design and create one-of-a-kind works from stone.In 2003, Ron moved to South Carolina where he met his wife, Sallie, and together, they continue to create "anything one can imagine" from stone, restore historic architecture and monuments, and perform structural stone fabrication, installation, and repair. Pulling from his musical education background, Ron began telling stories based on song lyrics to his children when they were little. As his boys grew, so did Ron's stories. Finally, at Sallie's insistence, Ron began putting the stories down on paper.Ron currently resides in South Carolina with his wife and two sons, and continues to use his imagination to carve stone and write stories.
