Bennie's back! He's short and hairy and lovable. He's everybody's favorite black-and-white golden retriever on basset hound legs! In I GET BY WITH HELP FROM MY PEOPLES, volume 3 of Conversations with Bennie, the ever-intrepid Bennie reveals all his secrets for getting along with the two-legged humans who pet him and buy his dogfood! He talks things over with "the ma'am" and pokes his snout into the world of dating when one of his fans asks him out. He's suspicious of the nanny, who clearly does NOT smell like a goat. He tries to understand the teenagers in his home (something many people in many homes with teenagers have struggled with as well). He learns he's a celebrity on his mom's social media and has friends all over the country he's never met! He's curious about psychology, cavemen, and arithmetic, but confused by metaphors. He learns that there are small people in the world, but one shouldn't refer to peoplebabies as a litter, even if there are three of them! He finds out why his dog sitters secretly call him Fred Flintstone. Oh, and he hopes to run for president someday. Vote for Bennie! I GET BY WITH HELP FROM MY PEOPLES is a great read at any age. Don't miss the reviews at the beginning, where Bennie's friends explain everything you need to know about his book!
