Runoff is one of the most important hydrologic variables and an indicator of availability of water. Although there is plenty of water available on the earth, however its distribution in time and specs not uniform. The science which deals with water is called Hydrology, and in nutshell, can be described as "the science of water that deals with the pace-time-frequency characteristics of the quantity and quality of water of the earth with respect to their occurrence, distribution, movement, storage and development" (Mishra and Singh,2003a). It plays a fundamental role in addressing a range of issues related to environmental and ecological management and social development. Hydrological modeling is a tool for prediction of hydrological behavior of basins. Several hydrological models ranging from empirical to physical based distributed parameters have been developed to predict runoff, erosion, sediment and nutrient transport from agricultural watersheds under various management regimes
