This study focuses on some aspects on the hydraulic characteristics of Rangpo River. The River is a right bank tributary to the Tista River. The stream joins the Tista at Rangpo town, East Sikkim. This study examines the various types of hydraulic features like flow pattern, velocity of water, hydraulic drop, water velocity, thalweg, water pH etc. are measured.
