Fred L. Miller is now an author and teacher. The 25 years he spent in television production in both blue col- lar and white-collar jobs was a life that drove him absolutely nuts until he learned to calm down. He has written for prime-time network television and produced and directed documentary and educational films. His stint at a large New York advertising agency is what almost drove him over the edge.To save his own life he has spent thirty-five years acquiring esoteric knowledge and has devoted the last thirty to making that knowledge accessible in everyday terms. Calming down is what saved his sanity and facilitated a long, successful career in the entertainment industry.He has lectured on breath awareness at the UCLA- School of Medicine, has taught relaxation techniques to cancer patients and is certified by the California State Bar Association to teach attorneys meditation as stress management. Also, Blue Cross of California listed him as a preferred provider in complementary medicine. Fred is also a student of Tai Chi, Chi Gong, Aikido, Alexander Technique & Feldencrise. He has traveled and studied in India, Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, Jerusalem and the Rain Forest of Peru.Fred earned a BA in Communications from San Francisco State University. He is an Executive Coach certified through the Professional School of Psychology by the state of California and a member of the Writers Guild of America, Directors Guild of America, and PEN.
