Jenny Wheeler is an entrepreneur, historical mystery author and podcaster who is indie publishing the Of Gold and Blood Old California series. On her Joys of Binge Reading podcast she chats to genre fiction series authors in mystery, historical and romance - and is thrilled to have now recorded over 100 interviews there and still going strong. Before launching this latest career in fiction and podcasting, Jenny was a successful newspaper and magazine editor and ran an entrepreneurial health products company with her partner, the late Tim Bickerstaff, a New Zealand radio talkback host. In 2018 Jenny was awarded a Lifetime Achievement award by the Magazine Publisher's Association. Jenny was the first woman editor of the New Zealand Listener, and founding editor of New Zealand House & Garden and the Sunday Star newspaper. Jenny lives in Auckland New Zealand and when she isn't writing, podcasting and learning how to market her books she loves getting out in nature, going to her caravan in the Coromandel, and cooking for friends and family.
