Cindy L. Clark has spent forty-five years working with children. Home in Stead, her debut children's book, was inspired by her own family's homesteading in Rose Prairie, BC. When she isn't writing, she enjoys reading, drawing, and painting. She lives in Drumheller, Alberta, with her husband, Ron.
