Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Brent McKnight is a graduate of the University of New Orleans Low-Residency MFA program. Over the years, he's worked construction, clerked at a convenience store, moved thousands of pounds of pet supplies early in the morning, and cleaned up dog poop professionally.
