Arthur A. Hart, Director Emeritus of the Idaho State Historical Society, is the author of numerous books and articles on architectural and Western history. He served as president of the Society of Architectural Historians, N Pacific Coast Chapter, 1974-76, and was given the American Institute of Architects' highest award to a non-architect in 1980 when they elected him to honorary membership.
