Vidagdha Bennett is an Australian writer. A student of Sri Chinmoy's since 1975, she undertook the pioneer study of his contemporary spiritual poetry for her PhD thesis at the University of Melbourne, now available on Kindle as Simplicity and Power: The Poetry of Sri Chinmoy 1971-1981. She has since gone on to write about aspects of the master's childhood and youth in India, as well as his early years in New York. Vidagdha lives in Perth, Western Australia.
