I am an aviation technician in the Royal Canadian Air Force and a full-time dreamer. Working on building jet engines and afterburners, my head is naturally always in the clouds. I wrote this book while on maternity leave with my baby girl, Layna. I wanted to gift her something as a souvenir of all the fun days and adventures we have had together during my leave, and a keepsake of her grandmother, Paula, who passed away when I was only 35 weeks pregnant with Layna. Being born in Malta in the heart of the Mediterranean, I have always had a passion for learning languages and writing. I speak Maltese and English and have recently added French to the jam, having fallen in love with and marrying my prince charming, who is French-Canadian. My dream of being a writer has been brought to life through this book.
