The Photovoltaic (PV) systems are known as the elegant way to produce electrical energy. The PV systems must be operating with high efficiency. The DC-DC converter is continuous of development from in term increasing the voltage gain, decreasing the input and output current ripples, high power density, size reduction and increasing the efficiency. The primary objective of this thesis is design DC-DC Interleaved Boost Converter (IBC) with PV panel using Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT). The High Step-Up (HSU) IBC by incorporate additional inductor coupled winding used to reset magnetic flux core during converter operation. The analysis and simulation results show that the HSU IBC is best in terms of increase the voltage gain, decrease ripples in the input and output current and voltage, decrease the voltage stress on the switches device and improved the efficiency. The hardware prototype had been implemented practically and evaluated to validate the concepts experimentally. Thecorrelation between the simulation and the practical results are perfect and this gives confidence that the proposed converter will allow the goal to be achieved.
