Jessica Solis Carpinelli is a homeschooler and dance educator who brings firsthand, experiential knowledge of the homeschooling world as both a traditionally schooled and homeschooled student. She developed the children's dance program at a southern California studio and has worked for more than twenty years as a professional dance educator. As an experienced homeschooling and working parent of two children, she applies her understanding of child development to help parents find the best educational path for their children. Jessica and Mandi McArthur are the cofounders of a local homeschool cooperative and a large social media based homeschool group. Together, they developed and run The Coop Homeschool (thecoophomeschool.com). They provide workshops, write blog posts, present podcasts, and offer one-to-one consulting for new and experienced homeschooling families. Jessica lives in San Diego County, California. Mandi McArthur, MA ED., MBA, grew up in southern California where she thrived in a traditional school setting. She obtained her MA in education and school counseling and taught at a traditional junior high school and high school. After earning her MBA, she became a homeschool parent to her three children and has been homeschooling ever since. Mandi explores traditional and homeschooling educational philosophies, writes and uses a variety of curriculum, and invests in numerous communities, bringing a breadth of tried-and-true practices and wisdom to potential homeschool parents.
