He is the author of books for children including A Boy Like You, A Girl Like You, A Friend Like You, and Fearless Heart, in addition to many historical biographies for early readers. Charnaie Gordon is an expert on diversity in children's literature, founder of @hereweeread, and an author of books including A Friend Like You and Lift Every Voice and Change. She lives in Weatogue, Connecticut. Anastasia Magloire Williams is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Atlanta.
