Born and raised in New Hampshire, Mike Diener now lives in South Carolina with his wife and two young children. He has spent the last nine years as a public high school math teacher holding a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Mathematics Education and a Master's degree in Gifted Education. Mike draws on his personal life experience and his time as a father as inspiration for his writing.
