The weediness in all localities was relative high, and, depends of the year it ranged of 97.1 to 172.7 plants/m2. Herbicide efficacy evaluated 14 and 28 days after PRE and PRE+POST applications, was ranged of 42.1% (metolachlor PRE in 2010 in Bitola locality) to 99.5% (metolachlor + prometryn applied PRE in 2010 in Sveti Nikole locality). Efficacy of herbicides in control of prevailing weeds during the 2 years field trial period 14 and 28 days after PRE and PRE+POST applications was ranged between 44% and 100% in all localities. Particularly high efficacy showed combinations metolachlor + prometryn and metolachlor + linuron, respectively applied PRE which provided nearly 100% control. All applied herbicides and their combinations, except metribuzin POST showed high selectivity to carrots. Yields of the herbicides treatments reflected their efficiencies in weed control.

D-r Zvonko Pacanoski nasceu a 6 de Agosto de 1973 em Prilep, República da Macedónia. Formou-se em 1998 na Faculdade de Ciências Agrárias e Alimentação. Tese de Mestrado defendida em 2003, e Dissertação em 2008. Participou nos diferentes programas de formação na Holanda, Alemanha, Suíça, Grécia e em 2009 especializou-se em CIHAEM em Bary, Itália.
